SMART MONEY…IS ON “MONEY”

SMART MONEY…IS ON “MONEY”
By Ron Brashear
Inside Boxing Writer/Columnist

(IB) – February 03, 2010 – Now that both fighters; Mosley and Mayweather, have signed to fight each other on May 1st at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, NV, We can actually begin to take a closer look at this fight.
For me, I will have to say that the SMART MONEY…IS ON “MONEY”, Floyd “Money” Mayweather.  While I have a lot of respect for all that Shane has achieved in his stellar career, I don't see him prevailing against Floyd in this fight. In my humble opinion, there is actually only ONE real threat in the Welterweight Division to defeat Floyd. It’s not Shane or the Pac Man. It’s actually Berto. Had Mosley and Berto fought last weekend, we would have all witnessed exactly what I have just stated. It’s something about a skillful champion with a ZERO in the lost column. He doesn't know how to lose. That is the case with "Money" Mayweather. Mosley and Pac Man have experience in losing fights...Floyd doesn't and that will be the difference maker. By the way, Berto doesn't know how to lose either. (more)

My My My I can see you're wearing your cheer leading outfit. Floyd the greatest? give me a break! To be mentioned with the greatest you have to have balls. That Bologna about having a 0 in the loss column is a crock, Ali did not have a zero and he IS regarded the greatest. Not because he never lost but because he could fight and more importantly, he had big ones!
Berto? who has he beat to be considered with like of todays top dogs?
Mr. Brashear you missed the boat on this one.

ARE YOU SERIOUS? REALL??....ANDRE BERTO?!?! WHO HAS THIS CAT EVEN FOUGHT? A THIRTY SOMETHIN' YEAR OLD FORBES....COLLAZO IN WHICH HE HAD A TOUGH TIME WITH, LOOKED AS THOUGH THE LAST ROUNDS OF THAT FIGHT HE LOOKED SPENT, AND JUAN URANGO? IN MY OPINION HE STILL HAS A ZERO BECAUSE OF THE CALIPER OF FIGHTS HE HAS TAKEN. LETS WAIT TILL HIS COMPETITION IS A LITTLE TOUGHER AND SEE WHAT HE'S MADE OF. FOR GOD SAKE HE'S FOUGHT WHAT 4-5 12 ROUND FIGHTS IN HIS YOUNG CAREER. I THINK THERE ARE MANY STEPS FOR HIM TO TAKE BEFORE YOU START MENTIONING THAT HIM AND FLOYD WOULD BE SUCH A GREAT FIGHT. MAYBE FLOYD SHOULD THINK ABOUT COTTO, MARGACHEATO, OR P. WILLIAMS, YOU KNOW ALL THE "TOUGH ONES" THAT HE'S DODGED!!

You just not giving Sugar a chance is wrong! I too think Floyd will win the fight but not because he is so much better than Sugar Shane but because he will not mix it up.
If Sugar can beat father time and come out strong in the later rounds, then I think he beats money man.
I want to see how Floyds hands hold up with the Olympic testing or maybe since he is able to tell the Nevada athletic commission what to do they will forget to test for the hand injections.
