IB – May 2, 2010 - It looked as if we were going to have a fight last night. Yes for two rounds it looked like the fight was going to be a back and forth affair but then the “Sugar High” dispelled and crashed. Some fighters can be at the top of their game and wake up one morning and get old, for many athletes and people in general, age will sneak up and give you that rude awakening. The awakening was not only rude but it was a brutal affair for the outstanding professional boxer Shane Mosley.
This contest between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Shane Mosley carried the hype of being a fight of the year candidate and when you looked at it on paper, there was no reason to believe otherwise. A Current champion “Sugar” Mosley taking on the best fighter of this generation “Money” Mayweather and with both fighters coming off excellent victories should provide the ingredients.(more)
