My Nickels Worth of Contests... This Year

IB-July 23, 2010 - Well, here we are in the hot time of year we call summer, so I thought I’d write this piece and talk about the five HOT boxing contest I would like to see this year and being realistic and doable contests.
First, let me omit the Manny Pacquiao vs. Floyd Mayweather discomfiture! I’m tired of hearing all bickering, he said, she said (or did not say) going on between both sides. If the fight happens, I’ll watch it, if it does not, then I promise I will not jump off a tall building in a single bound. There are still promising fights to be made by promising fighters that fight for the pride of being the best.
Here we go, starting with the fifth match-up and winding down to the first and most desirable.(more)

I agree on the Pac Man Floyd fight. At first I thought both sides had to share the blame for the fight not happening but from what I've read is Pac Man has conceded to the drug testing. You can't make Floyd fight if he doesn't want to and when you turn your back on 10-20 million it's obvious no one is going to talk him into fighting! After all it's Money that talks the loudest.
Pac Man vs Margarito, I don't think Margarito wants anything to do with it.
I see the Miguel Cotto and Paul Williams as a possibility
