Pacquiao controls Clottey

Pacquiao controls Clottey
By Moncayo Blackbull
IB-March 13, 2010 - With better than 50 thousand people on hand to watch “The Event” Manny Pacquiao had his way against Joshua Clottey. With Clottey being the true welterweight, bigger and stronger combatant many were giving Clottey a shot at winning this contest. And those who did not feel this way certainly gave felt this would be a close and competitive fight.
What we had was, for the sake of proper labeling, a contest between two well skilled fighters but the contest was far from a fight or a battle of any kind.

Photo: Eric Van Dyke/InsideBoxing.com
IB-March 7, 2010 – On May 1st. we’ll have Floyd Mayweather and Shane Mosley take center ring in a contest between two pugilist whom have brought boxing excitement for many years now.
Both fighters are on the backside of their careers, with Mosley being 38 years old and Mayweather seeing his birthday come and go thirty-three times. Although not Spring Chickens, they do bring to the ring a whole lot of experience, and with experience we should see an entertaining contest. (more)

FLOYD MAYWEATHER, JR: THE P.T. BARNUM OF BOXING

(IB-March 4, 2010) P.T. Barnum: "I'm in the business of entertainment. I give people what they want to see and when they want to see it. I want them to go home remembering they sideshow benniedsaw something they'd never seen before. Along the way they are all just really suckers and there are plenty of suckers. There's one born every minute".
Sound eerily familiar?
Floyd Mayweather, Jr. has obviously studied up on the famous circus and side-show carnival operating genius P.T. Barnum who had no problem in labeling patrons of his weirdness as "suckers". (more)

"THE GIFT OF GAB" BELONGS TO MAYWEATHER

(IB-March 3, 2010) Yesterday afternoon in New York City, the entire world came to a screeching halt as the crowned prince of the  fine art of "bumpin yer gums" took center stage.
Yes, none other than the always self-promoting, never a dull moment producing, one fight out of retirement and proclaiming himself still the "best fighter in the world", Floyd Mayweather, Jr. did his thing.
The counterpart in this opening round of promotions for the May 1st fight featuring Mayweather, Jr. was the maybe too soft spoken Welterweight Champion "Sugar" Shane Mosley. (more)

WHEN ROGER MAYWEATHER SPEAKS, WHO LISTENS?

(IB-February 28, 2010) Roger Mayweather, brother of Floyd Mayweather, Sr. and uncle of Floyd, Jr. continues to provide comedic relief for boxing fans.
The no longer controversial but now seemingly attention grabbing former world champion Mayweather offers very little proof in ridiculous statements he makes.
The innuendos and assumptions he boldly asserts as fact will be the downfall of he and others named in the still pending defamation lawsuit filed by Manny Pacquiao.
Somewhere along the way, one would perceive attorneys or even loved ones attempting to muzzle anyone named in the pending defamation lawsuit. If such an attempt has been made it has failed miserably and the case will be declared a unanimous decision in favor of Manny Pacquiao. (more)
